Philosophy
People often come to me around something episodic. A specific situation. A decision that needs to be made. That’s mindset coaching. It’s strategy. It’s sitting with what’s in front of you and working it through so you can make a decision and move forward.
When you start taking action in ways that feel empowering and fulfilling, you usually want more of that experience. You begin committing where you didn’t before. You take action in places you avoided. You do things you haven’t done before. Over time, attention shifts from a single situation to the broader arc of how you’re living and deciding. That’s where personal development takes shape.
Many decisions are shaped by things that rarely get examined:
-
assumptions about “reality”
-
beliefs formed through past experience
-
habits that run automatically
-
patterns that were necessary at one point in life
-
copying what worked for someone else
-
doing the opposite of what someone else did, to avoid becoming them
Humor is part of my approach. I don’t know how to do it differently. The mind often becomes rigid because it is trying to “protect” you. It’s innocent, but it is not harmless. It influences decisions, relationships, and outcomes. Bringing in perspective and some banter restores proportion. We laugh. Often. Without humor, things become unnecessarily severe.
Our coaching sessions pull from structured inquiry, evidence-based processing methods, strategic frameworks, and select holistic modalities. This may include The Work of Byron Katie, Brainspotting, EFT tapping, NLP, and other approaches, applied with discernment and in context. It also draws from more than thirty-five years of experience with holistic practices, along with a strong background in business and real-world decision-making. What we work with depends on what you’re facing. The focus stays on what’s useful for you and the situation you’re in.
Progress shows up in how decisions are made, how action follows, and how closely daily life reflects what matters to you.Your best life is not only possible, it's already within you.
